In 2006, Arhas International, itself a Made in France company since 1989, decided to create the CAMALYA brand. The Made in France production is thus anchored in the DNA of the company for more than 30 years. The company is indeed a recognised player in this field.

For CAMALYA, Made in France is at the heart of the business and is a real driver.

For us, "Made in France" is much more than just terminology, it is a real way of conceiving the economy and trade in general.

For more than 15 years, we have been making all our hats by hand in our workshop in Champigny-sur-Marne.

The raw material, wool, raffia or straw, is processed in order to produce high-quality and durable finished products.

We don't make Made in France items to fit in with a fashion or trend, but the aim is really to implement the vision we have of trade and CAMALYA.

Today, Made in France has become a fashion statement that is very often put forward by brands in order to be in line with the trend or to become conscientious.

Fifteen years ago, this was not emphasised at all, and fast-fashion and relocation were commonplace. CAMALYA never wanted to abandon its values for other interests and since its creation, a large part of the collections has always been Made in France, with the proportion of Made in France increasing over time.

Today, we can therefore affirm our anchorage in Made in France and even position ourselves as a major player in this sector, particularly in the manufacture of hats.

Every year we participate in the MIF Expo to present to our clients, both professionals and private individuals, all our products that are in line with this.
